Canadian immigration program

Nova Scotia Nominee Program

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program nominates skilled workers, in-demand occupations and applicants with a Nova Scotia job offer who intend to settle in the province. A provincial nomination is a step toward permanent residence, which IRCC decides separately. Each requirement below is quoted from the governing Nova Scotia source and links back to it.

Sources on this page last verified Jul 17, 2026.

Eligibility criteria

The requirements below are drawn directly from the governing regulation and IRCC program guidance for Nova Scotia Nominee Program. Each is anchored to the verbatim source text, not a paraphrase, so you can read the rule as it is written and follow it to the official page.
