The OINP Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream has been officially closed and its applicant checklist archived. Effective May 30, 2026, this stream is no longer active as part of the OINP redesign, replacing previous transitional language. The checklist is now marked as no longer up to date and is maintained only for historical reference. Consultants must now refer to the main OINP page for current active streams under the redesigned program framework.

“On June 26, 2026 changes were made to [Ontario Regulation 422/17](/laws/regulation/170422) under the Ontario Immigration Act, 2015 (OIA) as part of the OINP’s redesign. The changes include removing the former 8 streams and introducing the new **Ontario Workforce Priority** stream. The Expression of Interest (EOI) system is now closed to new EOIs. No further invitations will be issued under the former program streams. All applications received under the former OINP framework will be assessed according to the eligibility requirements in place at the time of application.”
