Find out if you need a work permit - Canada.ca

The entire Formula 1 Grand Prix worker exemption section has been removed from the page. Previously, the page explicitly stated that F1 staff attending the May 2026 Grand Prix event do not need a work permit if they hold an employment contract, a Paddock Pass, or a letter of employment, and directed them to check entry document requirements separately. That block is entirely absent in the AFTER version. Consultants with F1/Grand Prix worker clients should note this exemption is no longer publicly surfaced on this page and should verify the current policy through other official channels.

When a change lands, the engine re-checks the files it affects

Navisa is an AI file-prep engine for Canadian immigration firms. It reads the documents on a file, cross-checks them, runs the eligibility analysis against retrieved official sources, and flags what an officer would — citations attached. It does not replace the judgment of a licensed immigration professional; a consultant reviews and approves the work.
