This update reflects current processing data as of October 21, 2026. Overall nominations issued increased to 5,831 (from 5,541) with remaining spaces reduced to 772. Stream-level changes include Alberta Opportunity Stream processing progressed to July 16 (from July 13) with increased nominations issued (3,273 vs 3,105), Rural Renewal Stream now assessing through September 4 (from August 17) with 813 nominations issued, and Alberta Express Entry streams show increased nominations, particularly Priority Sectors (651 vs 616) and Accelerated Tech (558 vs 528). A new note clarifies nominations may exceed allocations under a small Express Entry administrative overage. Expression of interest pool decreased to 33,291 candidates.
