A new section was added for applicants who filed a work-permit extension without an LMIA or CAQ. They must submit the missing LMIA or CAQ within 90 days of the extension application date or the application may be refused as incomplete. Missing documents must be sent via the IRCC web form. Consultants should flag open extension files missing LMIA/CAQ and calendar the 90-day window.
