A new mandatory section requires applicants to declare and detail all family members—including non-accompanying, missing, or presumed-dead relatives—and have them examined. Failure to declare bars later sponsorship of that person after PR. If examination is impossible, a letter of explanation plus supporting evidence (e.g. court order, police report, death certificate) must be submitted. Family members are defined as spouse/partner, dependent children, and grandchildren. Consultants must ensure complete family disclosure on every file.
