The temporary public policy that allowed sponsorship of previously undeclared family members ended on September 10, 2026. IRCC will still apply it only to eligible applications received between May 31, 2019 and September 10, 2026; applications filed after that date cannot use the policy, and previously undeclared family members are not eligible for family sponsorship. Inadmissibility link paths were updated and a redundant dependant-child intro sentence was added; those edits are non-substantive.
