IRCC uses NOC 2021 to identify jobs by TEER. This restates IRCC’s steps. Not legal advice. Does not say if you are eligible.
IRCC’s steps (Find your NOC, 2025-06-27)
- Filter the table by job title.
- Note the five-digit code, class title, and TEER.
- On noc.esdc.gc.ca choose NOC 2021 Version 1.0 and search that title or code.
- Confirm the main duties match the work you did. If not, find another title whose duties match.
IRCC: table is reference only. If it conflicts with the NOC website, the NOC website is correct.

Why Express Entry asks
Who can apply (2026-06-22): CEC and FSW look at TEER 0–3. FST looks at listed TEER 2 or 3 trade groups. Create a profile only on IRCC’s process. IRCC’s Check your score page is the official CRS calculator.
